This stunning alpine region offers an extraordinary range of activities and attractions.

Other things to see and do in Hanmer Springs include visits to some of the 70 or so vineyards of the Waipara Wine region and dining and shopping at Hanmer Springs village. You may also enjoy a round of golf at Clearwater, one of New Zealand’s best 18-hole country championship courses, located in Christchurch. On the coast, just 135 kilometres away, beautiful Kaikoura offers rugged scenery, excellent seafood and famed whale and dolphin watching cruises.
